Yummy Place — pre-order and pickup for a Sault Ste. Marie bakery

Yummy Place hand-makes Ukrainian and European desserts — macarons, cookies and treat boxes — in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, since 2023. Orders come from local pre-order and from a stall at Soo Market, so the site had to take orders ahead of pickup, not just show a menu.

What we built

• An online menu with a shopping cart, so customers order ahead instead of showing up blind
• Pay-at-pickup checkout — no card fees or payment friction for a small local bakery
• A loyalty program built into the site itself, not bolted on through a third-party app
• A news section so seasonal flavours and market appearances stay current without a redesign

The site does the job a phone-order system usually does for a home-based food business, without needing a POS or a delivery platform's cut.
